Alright--haven't written in a eternity, so time to get back on the horse.  Speaking of horses, let's talk about Cowboy Coffee!  My wife and I are going to a great event in Amador county called the Scofield Cowboy Campfire soon (http://www.scofieldscowboycampfire.com).  It's held on a ranch hosted by a serious cowboy, Ron Scofield.  There's a Tri-tip BBQ, cowboy entertainment, apple pie, and COWBOY COFFEE!  Cowboy coffee is the easiest coffee to make--you simply get a big pot, boil some water and put your ground coffee directly in the water.  Let it brew a bit and bingo, you have a very potent and hearty cup of American history!  It's the one time I'll ignore my pet peeve about grounds in coffee--fits in very well with the nostalgia of the open range, and simpler times before preparing coffee was a careful science-!

I'm so glad you like our legendary cowboy coffee! We have heard everything from folks seeing visions to wanting to drive across the US without sleeping. Yes it's very strong, but then again... it's Cowboy Coffee! Thank you for posting
